Meet Fawn & Ben
Hi! We are Ben, Fawn, and Bryson. We first want to say thank you for considering an adoption plan and taking the time to look at our profile. We can only imagine what you are going through.
Ben is 36 years old. He was born in Camden, South Carolina, but was raised in Utah. Ben is full time active duty with the Tennessee National Guard. Ben enjoys working out, woodwork, and canoeing. He is the oldest of four siblings. He has one brother and two sisters. We have two nephews and one niece on his side. We have another niece or nephew or nephew on the way also. One of Ben's sisters, Sarah, lives with us, but the remaining of his family still live in Utah. Even though they live hours away, we remain in contact with them and go out there as much as we can.
Fawn is 33 years old. She was born in Syracuse, New York, but moved to Tennessee when she was four. Fawn works for the District Attorney's Office Child Support Division. She enjoys reading, relaxing in the pool, canoeing, and fishing. Fawn has one older sister who she is very close to. We have two nephews on her side.
Bryson is 3 years old. He was born in Nashville. We adopted Bryson through Miriam's Promise. He is very active and caring. He likes to share his snacks and juice with his stuffed animals. He loves to swim and has to help with whatever we are doing. We have never seen someone who loves to vacuum as much as he does! Bryson is obsessed with counting. As I am trying to type this, he is pointing at the numbers on the keyboard and counting.
Since we have Bryson, we have really learned how to work together. When one of us is struggling the other one steps up to help. We always heard it takes a village to raise a child. That could not be truer! Thankfully, we have a very good support system. Fawn's family live close and are always willing to help, along with Sarah. Each week we have family dinner with her side and with Ben's sister. We normally meet up at Fawn's dad’s house and just spend the night catching up and watching the kids run around playing with each other. Fawn's dad also calls Sarah his 3rd daughter.
We both had siblings growing up and know how much they impacted our lives. We would love Bryson to have that opportunity too. We feel extremely grateful for all the love, support, and encouragement from our family and friends with our decision to adopt again. Although we know this is not an easy decision to be made, we look forward to sharing this journey with you!
