Meet Jenny & Andrew

We are Andrew and Jenny, and we live outside of Nashville with our two daughters, Maddy and Emma, and our dog Daisy. Jenny and Andrew have been together since 2008, and have been married since 2010. We spend a lot of time together as a family, whether we’re watching Maddy perform with her school’s marching band, or cheering on Emma at gymnastics practice, or just sitting down to dinner together at home.

Our family life is full, but we tend to keep things pretty simple when it comes to living our lives and enjoying our time together. On the weekends we like to relax at home, often with friends, grilling out and having game night (our current favorites are SORRY and Dominoes). We also like visiting the zoo, swimming, taking walks with Daisy, and visiting playgrounds with monkey bars – Emma’s current passion. We are blessed to live in a neighborhood that seems to always have some fun family event going on – Easter Egg hunts, holiday parades, trick-or-treating, and that sort of thing. There are lots of kids around, so there’s never a shortage of playmates.

Andrew works hard to support our family, and brings much fun, laughter, and a steady stream of dad jokes into our house. He serves on a couple of committees at our church, and also makes time to volunteer with Maddy’s youth group, read bedtime stories to Emma, and, even on occasion, gives Daisy a bath.

Jenny worked in the restaurant world for most of her career. She just left her last role – Office Manager/ Office Mom for a local restaurant group – a few months ago, in order to be around more to manage the house and our children’s activities, and to spend some time working solely as a stay-at-home-mom. She also is in charge of the Children’s Ministries program at the church we attend.

Adoption has been on our hearts for a long time, and we are all excited to welcome another child into our family. We will be thrilled to embrace a child of any ethnicity, and we want you to know your child will be so loved. Everyone in our world – our siblings, our parents, our friends – are behind us and ready to guide and nurture this child and surround them with love, laughter, and unconditional support.

We know that you are trying to make the best decision you can make for your child, and we can only imagine how challenging it must be. This is obviously just a small snippet about our family, but we’d love to share more, if you’d like. We’d be happy to meet you and answer any questions you may have, so that you can come to know us better. We pray for you and your child daily, though we have not met, and you are in our thoughts constantly. We hope to meet you soon.
