Director of Program Development and Pregnancy & Adoption Counselor
Miriam's Promise is a not-for-profit agency serving Middle Tennessee. Our mission is to esnure the well-being of the child by nurturing individuals and families. Program services include pregnancy counseling, international and domestic adoptions, and counseling services.
Qualifications: Those applying must hold a master's degree in social work or counseling, LCSW, LMSW, or LPC (or similar licensure) preferred. Experience in program development, working with a team, and adoption experience is a plus.
Salary Range: $42,000-$48,000. Benefit options include medical, life, dental, and pension program.
Responsibilities: The Director of Program Development/Pregnancy & Adoption Counselor is a full-time position and hold responsibility for creating and implementing new programs meeting the expressed needs of the community and clientele. In addition, they are responsible for carrying out the functions of the agency in helping children and prospective adoptive families to complete legal proceedings and social and emotional adjustments necessary to adoption and pregnancy counseling. Specific duties may vary from time to time and would be those assigned by the Director of Program Services.
