Please come and join us October 11, 2010 at Nashville Golf & Athletic Club for our 11th Annual fundraiser benefiting Miriam’s Promise and our programs.

The unique facet of the Golf & Walk Challenge is the mechanism for raising funds.   Our golfers and walkers who participate do not pay to play, however we ask you to commit to raising individual donations through letter and calls to friends, business acquaintances and family.   We are happy to help you and provide you with information and materials to use.

All participants will receive a goodie bag and gifts, as well as an opportunity to win prizes based on skill and donations raised the day of the event.

Expectant Parents receive counseling and assistance at no cost for as long as services are needed

We provide adoption services to birth parents making an adoption plan for a child of any age, race or unique need

Our families include a diverse group from all faiths and races

Our “Expecting the Best” program provides weekly pre-natal education and counseling services to incarcerated pregnant women

We offer choices in adoption including open relationships between birthparents and adoptive families

On-going support groups are available for birthparents, families waiting to adopt and families of adoptive children

International adoption services are available, including specialized training and preparation for parents adopting children from orphanages

Our staff is trained to provide attachment-based therapy, designed to help children cope with trauma and loss

Just go to our Donate page and complete the information for a General Donation.  After you click General Donation fill in your request in the Other section.   Example:  make this a recurring gift every month on the 15th. Then complete the rest of the information concerning Amount, Credit Card information, etc.   It’s that simple!

Miriam’s Promise – Pregnancy, Parenting And Adoption Services Receives 2009 Nashville Award

U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 — Miriam’s Promise Pregnancy, Parenting And Adoption Services has been selected for the 2009 Nashville Award in the Adoption Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.
